The Building

The shelter will be a sound proof state of the art "Monolithic
Concrete Dome" building.  The monolithic concrete form
construction is the strongest, best insulated and least expensive
permanent type of building in the world today.  Neither a tornado
nor an earthquake would damage the building, providing
maximum protection to the inhabitants.  The construction of the
kennel facility will be the first utilizing this technology in the State
of Illinois.
The Architect

The architectural firm of D. Thomas Kincaid and Associates of
Lake Geneva, WI has been hired to design the state of the art
facility for Angels with Tails Shelter.  Tom Kincaid A.I.A. NCARB is
a four-time national award winning architect and has been
championing sustainable/green building before it became today's
buzzword.  Kincaid's firm has designed veterinary centers around
the nation and have been featured in veterinary economic
